A)  A hard news story tells more specific details of a story unlike a opinion based story that has the writer's opinion.
A writer for a hard news story has to state facts and cannot take a stand and state their opinions. Whereas a opinion based story only contains opinion based facts and opinions of the writer.
A hard news story must have quotes from people whereas opinion pieces do not.

B) Any pictures are drawings that represent the story or is a picture of the writer. I think they put the least about of pictures to not distract from the story.

C) Presidential candidates, a new hit singer/actor, and/or world events
